WAGS defy Fabio Capello as they arrive in South Africa to cheer on their men as England make it through group stages

Despite Fabio Capello's no-WAG rule this World Cup, the England boys definitely needed some moral support yesterday. And who better to provide that than their loving wives and girlfriends, some of whom defied the Italian manager's request and flew into South Africa for Wednesday's crucial match against Slovenia. First in was Emile Heskey's fiancée Chantelle Tagoe, who arrived in Port Elizabeth with the couple's two sons Jaden, four, and Reigan, two.
