Oprah Winfrey struggles behind Judge Judy with her worst-ever viewing figures
She has been the number one daytime talk show host for the last 24 years.
But Oprah Winfrey has experienced a drop in popularity in the United States that has landed her with nearly two million fewer viewers a day than 'daytime's reigning champ' Judge Judy.
The Oprah Winfrey Show, which is entering its 25th and final season this Autumn, is averaging 3.8 million viewers.
The new queen of TV? Judge Judy, left, has beaten Oprah in the ratings in 14 of the last 16 weeks in the United States
The Judge has beaten the talk show 14 out of the past 16 weeks. And in June, Oprah's ratings were at their lowest in her show's history.
'To be fair, Oprah has been in repeats since May,' says New York Post.
'But so has nearly every other daytime show.'
An Oprah spokesman told the Post: 'Although the ratings for our summer reruns have declined since last year, 'The Oprah Winfrey Show' continues to hold its place as the No1 daytime talk show for the last 24 years.'
Oprah, 56, herself was once the world's only black billionaire, currently worth an estimated $2.4 billion and widely considered the most influential woman in the world.

But to add insult to injury, the talk show icon is dealing with several other misfortunes.
The release of an unauthorised biography of her life earlier this year detailed the behind the scenes behaviour and relationships of the extremely private star, a book which is now being turned into an on screen biopic to be released next year.
Judge Judy features family court judge Judith Sheindlin, who oversees small claims cases. The claimants have to abide by her decision.
